This weed is a symbiotic pairing of plant and insect, but for practical purposes we'll treat them as one being. Metaflaxus grows quickly and releases swarms of burnflies, which carry the plant's seeds to new locations and can damage base structures and injure colonists. To avoid a major infestation, use a weeding post to burn away the plants as soon as they appear.
